Welcome to the “Truth Be Told” blog.
I'm not some known author or writer but aspiring writer and a passionate person always living with purpose. This blog is my personal dedication to writing about any and all topics (and yes that means even the hard or harsh ones too!) Topics from day to day lives either with serious intent or random thoughts and questions and “categories" or “genres” of topics. The intent of this blog is to provide either entertainment, enlightenment, curiosity, or perhaps even a connection to a stranger who doesn't know you, but you feel that the topic posted is relatable to you. Humanity isn’t wired to walk this world alone so maybe some of these posts can connect us all in some ways...or just maybe, maybe a bond is created between you (the reader) and me (the writer).
In case you’re wondering here’s a little bit about me. Texan by birth, choice, and in heart but no I’m sadly not a Cowboys football fan (in case you were wondering). Living life one day at a time as a single mother of two in my 30s, while accepting the challenges and embracing what life brings my way (yes that includes the bad days). With Mexican and Spaniard blood in my family, I'm finding ways to combine my roots with a sustainable lifestyle, evolved heritage while always retaining my identity (whether its approved by family or not). It's not easy to say the least but it has been interesting; some topics will definitely stem from my personal experiences. Also, for the record just because I’m a mother doesn’t mean I won’t get into some “single” or “dating/relationship” topics. I enjoyed my upbringing and life to date with a very blessed career along with a very blessed education from pre-k all the way to college. I’m beyond blessed and as odd as it may seem or even doubters reading will start say nay, I’ve actually accomplished everything I’ve wanted to in life! Now that doesn't mean I don't still have dreams or goals, but I truly have done so much and not just in Texas...I'm already planning and working on new goals in the meantime-I have a busy life, and I like it that way. Life is not meant to be stagnant.
With all that being said, I’m not an expert by any means, on any of the topics that you’ll find here. However, I believe in being distinct in a world filled with people who have labeled a type of “norm” among us or who have simply conformed in life to what “social norms” are designated. I love to explore, adventure, and learn new things! My hope is that all of that gets shared in my writing. So, join me in exploring various topics that will be uncensored (possibly even insulting/vulgar/crude to some) but please note that I’ll strive to maintain some delicacy in my writing, so you won’t be completely offended (hopefully anyway but if you are offended...well that's a YOU problem). If you have a particular topic of conversation in mind, let me know and I would love to delve into it for you as a post!
